The Huntsville Girls Hockey Association is excited to be offering an ESSO FUN DAY! This is an opportunity for girls and women of ALL AGES who have never played hockey, to enjoy a FREE event with no commitment.
Our event is on Sunday August 27th from 10am to 2pm at the Huntsville Summit Center. There will be 1 hour of on ice fun, as well as off ice activities, games and snacks.
Mom and daughter pairs encouraged to try together! Tell your friends, register, and join us for a great day!
If you do not have equipment that you can use or borrow, please reach out to us at hgha@hotmail.ca and we will do our best to supply a set for you for the day.

Our program will be as follows:
10am: Welcome and registration. We will give you your hockey jersey on arrival.
10:15-11:15am: Off ice games and skills. This could include outdoor ball hockey so please wear running shoes, comfortable clothing and being a water bottle.
11:15-11:30am: Quick snack in the upstairs lobby.
11:30-12:00pm: Change rooms to get ready for our ice time.
You will need a hockey helmet,skates, stick, shin pads, hockey shorts,hockey socks, elbow pads and neck guard at minimum. Shoulder pads, jill and mouth guard are optional. Please reach out to us if you do not already have any of this equipment and we can try to source some for you to borrow.
12:00-1pm: On ice fun and hockey skills!
1:00pm-2pm: Pizza and juice in downstairs lobby of the Don Lough.
